Sketch of Lyndhurst House School (Matthew Wright, 1998) H

istory and premises

Lyndhurst House was founded by Vernon Davies in 1952 and remains in the same handsome Grade II listed four-storey Victorian building - one of the famous Hampstead Willett houses.

The building is generously proportioned, with full facilities and a modern gym extension. The school has its own walled playground.

The accommodation is spread over four storeys. In addition to the classrooms, which are light with high ceilings, there is a specialist room for Art, a Library, and the Science Laboratory, as well as the Gym and Assembly Hall.
