dmission to the Pre-preparatory Department

 

The main entry is at four-plus.

There is a non-returnable Registration Fee of £100. Parents should download and complete the Registration Form (MS Word, 30KB or PDF, 72KB) and return it with their cheque for the Registration Fee.

A boy’s name, once registered, is entered on a Provisional List for his year of entry. Reception Class places are offered about a year before entry, for firm acceptance, with initial priority given to those who have brothers already in the School. On acceptance of a place, parents become liable for the first term's fees and a deposit is payable. The deposit is set against the fees of a boy's last term.

It is expected that boys joining the Pre-Preparatory department will stay the full course for entry to their next school at thirteen. Transfer to the main school at seven-plus is normally automatic.
